Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions — Dolceacqua Retreats

1. Booking & Payment

​

  • All bookings must be made at least five (5) days prior to the start of the retreat.

  • A deposit of 30% of the total retreat fee is required upon booking to secure your place.

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than fourteen (14) days before the retreat begins.

  • For Early Bird Rates, full payment is required to secure the booking.

  • Bookings are confirmed only once the deposit has been received and you receive a confirmation email from the organiser.

2. Cancellation Policy

​

  • Cancellations made at least two (2) weeks before the retreat will be refunded, minus a 20% cancellation fee of the total retreat price.

  • Cancellations made within two (2) weeks of the retreat start date are non-refundable.

  • If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person, provided you notify us at least five (5) days prior to the retreat and provide the replacement participant’s details.

3. Minimum Participants & Event Cancellation

​

  • The retreat requires a minimum number of four (4) participants to run. In the unlikely event the minimum is not reached, or for reasons beyond our control (e.g., illness, venue issues, force majeure), we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the retreat.

  • In such cases, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or a credit towards a future retreat. We are not responsible for other expenses you may have incurred (e.g., travel, accommodation).

4. Participant Responsibility

​

  • By participating in the retreat, you agree to take full responsibility for your health, well-being, and personal belongings throughout the event.

  • We thank you in advance for your respectful and courteous nature towards other participants, hosts, and the retreat venue.

5. Health & Safety

​

  • By registering for this event, you acknowledge that you are physically and mentally able to participate in the retreat activities.

  • Please inform the retreat organiser in advance of any health conditions, allergies, or special requirements.

  • Some areas have limited wheelchair accessibility.

6. Travel Insurance

​

  • Please arrange suitable travel insurance to cover such things as trip cancellation, medical expenses, personal injury, and loss of belongings.

7. Liability Waiver

​

  • The organiser is not liable for any personal injury, illness, property damage, or loss sustained during the retreat, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

  • Participation in retreat activities is at your own discretion.

8. Photography & Media

​

  • Photos and videos may be taken by the organisers during the retreat for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in such media, please inform the organiser in writing before the retreat.

9. Force Majeure

​

  • Organisers shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform their obligations if such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond their reasonable control (including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or government restrictions).

10. Governing Law

​

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of France and Italy.
